Earl R. Hoffmann, Sr. grew up with a love for aviation. He began his flying career, as a pilot in Naval Aviation and still loves to fly today. Back in 1954, in an effort to combine his love of flying with business, Mr. Hoffmann founded Surdex Corporation, which stands for SURvey, Develop, EXplore. Since its incorporation over 50 years ago, Surdex has grown from a start up aerial photography firm to one of the most technologically advanced digital mapping firms in the photogrammetric profession. With a fleet of aircraft and multiple acquisition options, Surdex now provides complete geospatial solutions for public sector (County, Municipal, Federal, State, Etc.) and private sector clients (Oil & Gas, Transportation, Utilities, Engineers, Developers, Etc.) throughout North America.
